Not everything. Not yet.

 Just gonna do a short one real quick.

A while ago, I posted on DeviantArt about why I was interested in My Little Pony, yet not a brony. My conclusion was that I was simply not ready to engage in the community. After all, you can like something without falling into the fandom.


Recently, I have pondered my choice, though. I want to explain a bit more before I tell you why.

Of the reasons pushing, "Yes! Join the bronies," I included:

• Appealing animation
• Excellent voice-acting
• Tends to cheer me up
• It's kyut!
• Pop culture references (eh... I guess)
• Relate-able
• Creative cast of characters
• Music (it's good, for the most part)

Now, really, the only things pushing for, "No! Do not become a brony," were basically the weird fanfictions and clopping. Now, I face-palm myself whenever I bring that up. That kinda stuff exists in every fandom.

But still, I'm kind of nervous about the "interaction", tidbit. I can barely hold a conversation in real life, and I don't fare much better online. But still, I'm trying.
But there's still one last itty-bitty little problem: I have yet to watch a full episode.

Minds were blown. I know, I know, scandalous. But in my own defense, we don't have television, and I can't afford to pay to watch it online. I've seen piles upon piles of clips from the show, just never a full episode. I have no idea where they are available on disc sets.

I'd like to say that I'm a brony through and through, but I guess I'm just not quite there yet. Oh well. See you on the other side.
